Help Controlling a Sanyo PLC-XU106

Our church has purchased a new Sanyo PLC-XU106 projector. With the old Sanyo projector, we used the projector control program from the company that makes Presentation Manager. Sanyo has changed the command set for their projectors, so this program no longer works. The commands are saved as an xml file. This file can be edited with the new commands. The new commands are in a different format than the previous ones, though. I have attached the old xml file and the pdf that has the commands for the new projector. I added the txt extension to the xml file so I could attach it to this message. I would appreciate any help.

Give this a shot. Most of the commands were the same. Just a few diffs. Looks like you lost your remote focus capability.

One thing that looks a little strange is the baud rate is set to 8 in the old file. This is not a valid baud rate so I think it is probably an offset into a list of baud rates (the 8th one). If the old projector was 9600 baud then the file should be fine. If the old projector was a different speed then you may have to adjust that "8" value up or down accordingly.
