| This cinemasource.com/articles/screen_wire.pdf lists several options. If your projector has screen-relay outputs and you can run a cable from the projector to the screen control box, the solution may be simple. Here's an example of an Ethernet relay: relaycontrollers.com/Relay/Relay/CAT_RELAY2_ETHERNET. Prices seem to be around $250 and the relay would need to be controlled by something: manual control thru a web interface, or a matched ethernet sender that is manually controlled with a switch or triggered by the projector. If CAT-5 cabling is available and the Ethernet relay is too expensive then the CAT-5 cabling can be used to wire a relay circuit. Since Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) over CAT-5 is capable of 44 V DC @ 13 Watts, Cat5 would handle, say, a 12 Volt DC relay circuit. |

| Kramer has several "media/room controllers" with relay, RS232 and ethernet connections. Another company is "Neets". They also make what you are looking for. http://www.kramerelectronics.com/pro...pid=678&sf=109 http://www.neets.dk/ |

| We control our projectors via the RS232 serial port from the A/V area. Our remote electrical screen is physically powered from the A/V area and the up/down control is located within the A/V area. There is no 'remote control' via ETHERNET (or otherwise) involved - just a standard switched-mains connection. This keeps the overall cost fairly low as not much in the way of technology is necessary and there is also less to break/go wrong. It does, however, mean that you have to lower the screen and switch the projector on separately rather than controlling the screen from the projector. Dave |

| Our screen is controled by what looks like a garage door opener. Four our projector, we ran a cable with 1/8 in plugs on both ends that plug into the projector and remote.
