| I am looking to see if anyone else has had the following issue. We just had a new volunteer start at the church and she helps the pastor by creating his power point slides. She uses a PC with Microsoft office 2010, so this week when we went to import the files on the media booth desktop (a MAC) into Pro Presenter the JPEGS would either import as solid white or solid black. We have never had this issue before but the other volunteer used a MAC. What can we do to resolve this? I even tried to take the original file and save as .ppt instead of .pptx, I also used KeyNote to open the file she created but got a bunch of error messages about fonts missing? |

| Have the volunteer save it as a series of JPegs out of Powerpoint and see if that goes any better.

| I'm assuming this is PP5. Under the import feature, you have the option to import each slide as a jpg or you can import all the elements of each slide separately. This function is nice because you can edit any text on any slide, but it does not currently recognize background images. If the background is set by inserting an image and then stretch it out, it should detect it fine. However, if it's set using the background image function in PowerPoint, it will not see it. If you set it to import each slide as a jpg, it will work fine. I found this out several months ago while messing with the import feature. I posted in their forum and found out the above from their support staff. |
