Version Control For PP4 Library

We're about to make the switch to Propresenter finally and I got to thinking about something. Has anybody tried putting their library under SVN or CVS version control? I'm thinking it could be really handy when you need to alter, for one service, the arrangement of a song or backgrounds attached to songs, while leaving the master library intact and unaltered.

Has anybody tried this? Am I overthinking it? I imagine since I haven't read about it before that I probably am.

We use our Dropbox account as our master library and drag songs down as needed. We only drag songs back into Dropbox if we make corrections that we need to propagate to our other systems. That strategy could work for your needs.
