ProPresenter and Eyefinity

Just incase anyone was wondering an eyefinity card works with ProPresenter. I have up and running a 3 display setup using 1 6850 card. Of course you have to use an active Display Port adapter to get the extra display.

Hopefully i will get some videos posted soon.

So, it ends up saving you $50-$100 over the Matrox solution? Cool.

Chad,

Is the setup the same with the Eyefinity card vs the TH2Go? It looks like the resolution is higher too? Do you have independent control over each of the 3 images?

All... The EyeFinity card won't replace a Matrox TH2G or DH2G for edge-blended or multi-screen setups. The Advanced and Edge Blending Modules require the Matrox box. It will, however, allow you to run the operator screen, output screen, and Stage Display from a single card.

Sorry guys, i should have explained in more detail that i was just getting the extra display for the Stage Display. I'm sure it's possible to use a card to produce a span of displays but haven't tried that.

Oh, I was wondering. Thought you might have figured something out that the rest of us missed.

From the AMD website it looks as if you can span, just no edge blending (which I don't even use sometimes).
