| Just to clarify, .mov is a container format, not a video codec. A .mov file may contain any number of video tracks encoded in many different formats. To see what codec your video is, open the file in Quicktime Player and choose Window>Show Movie Inspector. The Format field will tell you what codecs are used. Also in Pro4, you can right click on a video and choose inspect to see the same information. We recommend H.264 or PhotoJPEG, both at Medium Quality. - Greg Harris Renewed Vision |

| I read a blog post a couple months back that gave us a tip to use PhotoJPG @ medium quality, tried it and have never looked back. We even convert to that codec when the file is already an mov format. We also make sure deinterlace source video is checked. Again, a tip we have found to work best for us. |
