Which Mac for Pro Presenter

Hi All!
My pastor has commissioned me to replace the PC in the Worship Center with a Mac and to run Pro Presenter instead of Easy Worship. My question is which Mac do you guys think is best for that application.
Thanks!

Question:
How many independent projector screens would you like to control, or better yet, how many do you think you might grow into in the future?

We just upgraded to:
iMac 20-inch 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
20-inch glossy widescreen display
1GB memory
320GB hard drive
8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory

from an iMac G5 and it made all the difference in the world. We use a lot of motions and video and the new machine deals with without a problem. We bought ours from Apple's refurb site for $1049.

Right now we're using an extron scaler/switcher with a distrubition amp to run three screens. I don't anticipate having to add any sceens, so I'm thinking that would be it.

The iMac is the best bang for the buck for a desktop machine. With the recently upgraded $999 MacBook, all of the laptop line will run ProPresenter nicely.

We use an iMac with no issues on running the software. Only issues seem to be when the computer hibernates it loses its feed to the projector.

Welcome to the forums, CATT!

If your iMac keeps going to sleep (or hibernating) during a service or when you don't want it to, check out this post: Tip: Keep your Mac from going to sleep
