Newsletters

I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to post an example of their newsletter.

I've been asked to come up with a redesign for ours which right now I will admit is very out of date looking and I've been looking around at some and have a few ideas started. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What kind of newsletter are you wanting? Email? Printed? Other?

I worked at a church for 8 years before leaving three months ago. Here is their email/digital newsletter that we did:

http://www.argyleumc.org/2012-02-28.ihtml?id=685236

The design is based from a template that we picked up in Constant Contact but when we moved to a different system (SKNotify) I rewrote it completely by hand. It was primarily an email newsletter but I would also paste the HTML into our website for viewing there. Feel free to grab any of the HTML if you want.

Before that we printed out a pamphlet that we would mail out which you can see here:

http://www.argyleumc.org/files/Newsl.../2010/June.pdf

(Note that for some strange reason Macs don't render out a majority of the text.)

Here is a link to the newsletter that my current church does:

http://archive.constantcontact.com/f...764202798.html

It is much better than ours because it features lots of photos which makes it more eye catching.

Hope those give you some good ideas!

Matthew

Sorry I didn't mention that I am looking for print, but we're also starting to look at possibly sending it out in e-mail as well, so most likely I will just save whatever I print as a .pdf. I just feel the ideas I have are too scattered to fit into one publication. But thank you Matt for sharing your info. with me
