Prayers for a family

Hey guys. A great man of God went to his father's loving embrace about 40 minutes ago. I did not know him as well as others, but his joy for life was inspiring to me.

It is hard to call him a "man" of God, he was younger than myself (but not by much), but even with his broken body (he was severely handicapped by something that I never asked about and he never wished to speak of) he had such a joy for life. Such a love of others. He loved everyone. I mean everyone.

He was the type of guy that would love a person who tried to kill him. He had that much love for people.

He was always one of the loudest (if not always the best) singers in church and never cared what others thought of him, except that they would look at him and praise his Heavenly Father.

He never wanted to talk about his handicap except how it allowed God to work in him and through him.

He was an amazing person, and one of the most Christ like people I have ever met.

Rest well Matt V. He is survived by his mother and father, he was their only child. Please pray for them in this difficult time.

We had a young man like that at my church who died a few months ago. He had such an impact that many people still talk about him and the example he set.
My prayers are with the family and friends left behind and I'm sure his legacy will live on as well.
