Need prayers for a coworker

Hey all,

A coworker of mine, who is only 34, just found out last week she has breast cancer. She is met with the oncologist today, and gets more tests done tomorrow to determine if it has spread, either to lymph nodes and/or bones. If it has, it means more drastic surgery in addition to the chemo.

To top it all off, she found this out just weeks before she is to get married. Her fiance is a wonderful guy, and is extremely supportive. The stress of it all is putting them both on a roller coaster ride, though.

Also, pray that things will work out for them regarding insurance, FMLA, etc. Our jobs don't pay a lot of money, so there are probably going to be financial hurdles for them in the future because of this.

Well, talk about a roller coaster! On the down side, she found out it is in some lymph nodes, and a second lump on the same side was found. So she will be starting chemo in a couple of weeks, right after the wedding. They have had to cancel their honeymoon because of all that's happening.

On the positive side, and a Definite answer to prayer, one of her doctors has been fighting the insurance company to cover some procedures (~$12,000 worht), and the insurance company refused, So, the doctor's office has offered to foot the bill for everything! Talk about God working in her life!

Please continue to keep them in your prayers. This is just the beginning of a long road for both of them.
