| Giving Thanks Hi Everyone First off, thank-you everyone for your prayers on my job and our housing situation. God has really brought us through this. On the home front, out landlord did sell the house. He treated us very badly along the way, abused our good will at every turn. But the new landlord is quiet (just him and his parents, he's probably in his 40s somehwere) and is very happy to have us as tenants. It's been going great. So praise God for that! On the work front, I started a new job almost two months ago and God has really been blessing me there. The morale is crazy-high, everyone is so very nice, there's a LOT of work and the work is super interesting. I've learned more there in the past two months than in the past two years at my previous company. From week three I've been out of the frying pan and into the fire, actively developing production code that everyone there is excited about. My co-workers are brilliant and driven. My boss is the CEO and one of the owners - great guy, brilliant guy. I actually walk out of meetings with energy and enthusiasm. It's geektopia! And I can actually keep up with my bills now. So praise God again - that was His doing, not mine. DISCLAIMER: I now work for the world's most cool digital signage software house, so watch for some thoroughly biased advise in the future  My wife is pregnant again - found out the day before I got the job offer from Omnivex. Hayward #3 is due the end of August. It'll be a tight squeeze with 5 people in a two-bedroom apartment but it's our only option for the foreseeable future unless God has something else up His sleeve that I'm just not aware of yet. But we're thankful for the new life! Things have been super busy with the new job, slightly longer commute, I'm doing more speaking at various programming conferences, and with the new company the learning curve never gets smaller - it's always up and up and up. I've taken my Chord Sheet Editor Add-in for Word Open Source (GPL and everything). As time permits, I'll be moving many of my previous endevors OSS. I hope I'm back, but I've got a busy couple of months ahead of me yet. I miss all of you guys but have been seeing what some of you are up to on facebook. Best wishes - Shaun
