Hello everyone, *waves*

I have actually been a member on this site for a couple of months now and have "lurked" but wanted to introduce myself. I am in the midst of what looks like will be a dramatic career change for my family and I and this is where the prayer part comes in. I'll give you guys the very short version of the story:

In my recent past, I have several years of experience in ministry as well as live production of christian and secular television, radio and even online journalism, of which I'm still doing on a mostly volunteer-basis now-a-days. Currently, because of bills and needing to feed my family, I have taken a generic business job with a large corporation, which I've had for over three years. We found out in October of last year that most of our jobs are being "alternatively sourced" (that should read, shipped to India).

Right around that same time, and it's awesome how God works this way, He actually called me out of that situation and back into ministry full-time, only this time via media ministry. I still have my full-time job at the moment, although we're supposed to be finding out within the next month who's been impacted by the change. Severance packages will be given to those let go, and I have some "alternative funds" that I could tap into if push came to shove, but I have no doubt that God has called me out of the financial world and back to ministry. It's getting discouraging though because I've been searching for a couple of months now with barely any interest shown by churches.

I guess my prayer request is two-fold: 1 -- that God would move quickly, if it's within His will. I'm only promised a job through the end of next month and it could be up for grabs after that. I would like something in place though before that actually happens. I pray for God's wisdom and His guiding hand as I search for a new job.

2 -- I pray that my family will not have to worry during this time of transition. I ultimately know this is an awesome marking of God's timing, but as the clock wears down and the eleventh hour approaches, it's easy to get discouraged and distracted. I pray that God will allow me to use my time in an honorable fashion and not waste it while I find this new place in the world for me.
