Thanks to all the replies.

I go to the Dr again on Thursday of this week.
Meet with Anesthesiologist, Cardiology and Surgeon.

Surgery is still on for March 2nd.

I'll be praying for your healing and speedy recovery from the surgery if it comes to that.. but I am also believing that the restoration of your health will come before they put you under the knife. I pray that when they prep you for surgery, they are going to take one more look and discover that the cancer is not there.

It's amazing how God works and how people in the medical profession are stunned when miracles like this take place. Regardless of the outcome, I know that this situation is in God's hands and you will come out of it victorious.

Ted, Thank you for these words of encouragement and all those who have posted that they are praying.

This prayer is the prayer my wife and I are praying also.

After spending about 8 hours being poked, prodded and seen by 5 drs Surgery is still on schedule.

But I do know God can Heal.

And to add to that, I heard someone once say "Plumbers use pipes, electricians use wires, and God uses the hands of men."

Update

Well Surgery was successful.

On Mar 2 I had the surgery. spent 2 days in ICU. After 4 more days in hospital
I came home. They removed 4 inches of my colon. The surrounding lymph nodes that were removed was tested and came back negative.

Praise the Lord for this. I go back on the 1st of April. Initial prognosis is no Chemo or radiation needed.

Thanks for all the prayers. Recovery is going slow but steady improvement.

Praise the Lord!! Two of my brothers had similar surgeries with similar results and still cancer free after 3 years
