Control PowerPoint playback

Hi to all,

I have a PowerPoint presentation with 3 slides in it.
I have configured my presentation that it repeats all the slides over and over again.
(this presentation is showed in a Kiosk)

I want that slide number one only get shown the first time I start the presentation.

Does anyone knows how I can do this with VBA ?

Thanks in Advanced!

ps. hope that i make myself clear

(Sorry, it's been years since I've used PowerPoint, so my memory is fuzzy.)

Isn't there a way to specify which slide you want your last slide to loop back to (without needing to code it in VBA)? I thought it was a standard parameter in the slide transition dialog. If that's the case, you'd simply tell your last slide to advance to your second slide, which would effectively bypass the first slide after the first time through the presentation.

This is not exactly what you described, but it may give you some ideas on creating an intro and then a looping slideshow. It starts one presentation with a button that calls the second one. So you can have your intro Powerpoint link to your looping Powerpoint.

Although if the presentation is looping on a kiosk, why do you need that first slide since most people won't see it unless they are standing there when it first starts up?
