seamless video transitions in ppt 2010

How do you get seamless video transitions for ppt 2010 slides with videos(mpeg) inserted into the slides set to advance on a mouse click with smooth fade in/out transition. When I tried this the slides would advance and fade in and out on the mouse click, but the video slide would freeze in the middle of the transition when fading out to the next slide and the next slide fading in would not have any motion until fully faded in. I am using windows 7 on a Dell 64 bit computer. I am also using easyworship software to display the powerpoint files. I would like to get this to work as it would be great to use during the praise band offering music to advance the slides on the beat of the music as opposed to having no control over slide advancement with a preset transition slide advance.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there

Have you tried Screen Monkey?

http(colon slash slash)www(dot)screenmonkey(dot)co(dot)uk

It's quite amazing in what it is capable of!

Sorry about the long way around the URL. I don't have enough posts yet to insert working links.

Cheers... Rick

Powerpoint just wasn't developed to handle video eleganly.

screenmonkey.co.uk is one free way around this and is highly recommended around here. (there's a link for you Mangus )

Full featured worship software (like EasyWorship, MediaShout, SongShowPlus and ProPresenter) allow you to integrate everything together. But are not free (although they all have free trials to try them out).
