Phrasing and Meter

This is my first post, I hope I am not breaking a rule. I would like to add phrasing and meter to projected songs. Is there software to do this or would it need to be done 'by hand'?

Welcome to CMN! Your post is not a problem. Howeber, I have moved this post into it's own thread so it can get proper attentiion.

Could you give more detail of what you are looking to project?

Phrasing, as I understand it, is generally shown by having line breaks in the lyrics.

I'm not sure why you'd need for the congregation to see meter on the screen.

Welcome.

Yes, please give more detail on what you are trying to do.
How would you like it to appear to the audience vs the worship team?

I would like the entire congregation to be able to sing an unfamiliar song by embellishing the naked lyrics with guide posts. Just like a trained musician sight reads music, the congregation could sight read the embellished lyrics. Example: Current projected lyrics-We find hope in His Name. Embellished-We find hoooope in His Na-ame. Simplistic due to the limited editing ability, but I hope it makes the point.

I think I see what you are after. The technique you are describing is very subjective and therefore I believe it will remain a manual process. Any of the presentation software will be able to display the text in this way.
