PPT 2003 Videos not playing on dual but sound...

Hi,
I'm using PPT 2003 and am importing videos - avis, mpeg, wmv's and combining them into our announcments (slides) on a dual monitor system.
When the show is viewed, sound works fine but monitors just display black screens as if the video's are not actually playing.
I have updated drivers but hasn't had any effect, as well as looking through display properties.
Any other suggestions would be appreciatted.

I've had this issue when running videos from WMP. My problem comes up when I drag the window with the video playing in it to the second display. I'd imagine the problems may be related, so I'm curious to see where this goes.

Yes through dragging them across like with any video player....

Also to note, I'm able to right click on the movie when editing in powerpoint and able to play it on the primary monitor but unable to successfully view show and see the video.

I've had this exact same issue while trying to play a PPT 2003 presentation in PowerPoint 2007. When the show is played on a secondary monitor, I can hear the audio, but the display is black. I have yet to find a fix for it.

looks like i'l'l try reinstalling and fixing powerpoint 2003 or upgrading it to powerpoint 2007, and seeing if that fixes it.

It could be video resolution problem. The video resolution in the projectors maybe difference than on your main monitor playing the presentation.
