powerpoint and timeclock youth group looking to use video board as a scoreboard for basketbal anyone know of a time clock type plug in that can be used to build a powerpoint scoreboard Posted by david rodgers on Nov 25, 2002. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- not helping much -- (in the time clock request), but that's sounds like an expensive use of your projector lamp! Posted by Brian Busch on Nov 25, 2002. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's a clock that will stay on top of anything -- I didn't look a long time, but there may be a timeclock option somewhere on this site: http://www.ecrew.org/ Posted by Tim Eason on Nov 25, 2002. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just saw it - As usual Ace Clock supports a customizable hour and/or half an hour strikes, multiple alarms, quick reminders, **countdown and stopwatch timers**. Looks like it would do the trick... Posted by Tim Eason on Nov 25, 2002.

Take a peek at the free Java basketball scoreboard at http://javascript.internet.com/games...coreboard.html - it would be cool to have that level of functionality, along with a dual monitor output. P.S. The message you replied to was from over 5 years ago - you might want to avoid responding to such old messages if you want to avoid the wrath of the administrators... ![]()

| No wrath... just don't want people getting upset about people asking questions about Powerpoint 98 ![]()

Dude, That Java scoreboard application is an "Open Source" program - that means you can "cut" the program code for free and "paste" it into your own computer/website to modify to your hearts content - just don't try to sell it. This assumes you understand Java Script programming of course...

PowerPoint Scoreboard - ver 1.0 OK, fellow youth workers. Here's my offering to you. I've programmed a scoreboard in PowerPoint. Free to download and use to your heart's content. It keeps score up to 999 for two sides, has 4 levels of undo/redo, and has a LED scoreboard look/feel. This is version 1.0. Version 2.0 will likely add a countup/countdown timer. All you'll need to do is customize the titles over the scores. They currently say 'Tigers' and 'Leopards' (for our Safari Kydz program), but you can change them. An interesting feature: The score is saved within the PowerPoint file. Save the file when exiting, and later you can resume where you left off. Please shoot me any feedback or ideas for improvement, including the aesthetics. I'm looking for all good ideas. I'll be posting this as a .ppt in the media exchange center. Jesus is Lord, Young Foosha Last edited by danroth; Friday, September 26th, 2008 at 12:21 PM.
