That stuff comes almost naturally to me now adays. My biggest focus areas are 7,8,and 10. They tend to be the last things i think about and sometimes forget to do. My wife marvels at how i take pictures. She will burn up an entire card (700 pictures) and have 20 good ones out of the bunch and i will shoot 60 to 100 and will be 90% or better. I keep telling her i've been doing it longer and it just comes natural but she still thinks i'm not telling her the secret button to push. Oh wait here's the perfect framing, lighting, speed, angle, focus, and level button.

nice stuff..

Kodak used to have a great book called "Picturing People" that was a great way to start out in people pics...It would need to be updated for digital stuff today, but the artistic parts were really nice. Some of the tips appear to be on their website now, but without the really cool examples that made the book so valuable.
