It does indeed. There's also a contest leading up to the beta, you can sign up to win an iPhone 5 and a free year of Proclaim when the beta comes out on Nov. 11 (11/11/11).

http://www.proclaimonline.com/free/

Looking forward to the beta, I've watched the video and want to get my hands on it.

Sounds backwards to me...

What if everyone just did there job and got there presentation in on time? Is that really too hard? It usually takes about 2 years to train a staff to quit changing things last minute but once they stop they realize just how much stress goes away. It's funny to have to teach Pastors to trust in God. Trust me God can give you an awesome Sermon and worship set a month in advance of that Sunday. I mean we are talking about the "Creator" here he knows and if you are in prayer and meditation he will provide you with what you need to speak into people's lives. Most people get confused about the spirit moving them and their selves moving them in the moment. Yeah i do believe that the spirit can move you to say something during a service every so often. I believe more that the spirit can speak through you in the planning of the service in advance. At that time it is easier to discern and know.

Whoops...i'll dismount that soapbox now.

That's the one thing that concerns me about it. I like the idea of having certain features available, but it has the tendency to turn into a crutch. It seems to almost be a very focused, presentation-oriented version of Planning Center.

As with anything in "the cloud" I am wary of it's operability. I guess it will take my patience to wait and find out. I do not like when items are planned online and then expected to work especially on an internet connection that could dump anytime for most churches.

I'm with you. I'm trying to talk myself into trusting the church server for my files, much less have the ALL the content out in the cloud.

I have all of my content on a server (nightly backup) and we run SSP from a server twice a week. I also resell mission critical "cloud" software to businesses (time and attendance), you won't get paid if you can't access it. The software I resell has been out there for about 4 years and it works very, very well. The "cloud" is the direction the world is going whether we like it or not.

I think cloud options (or main functionalities) for software or media is a great idea, and it'll of course take a few years of constant wide-spread usage to really work bugs out (iCloud may even speed up the process by drastically increasing the cloud userbase). But, people assume that since it's all "up in the cloud", there's no need for multiple backups. That's where you run into trouble on a Sunday morning.

They are really pushing this over on Facebook. But they have annouced there pricing plan and its liek $199 per YEAR for the smaller churches.

It may be a great product of those larger churches who collaborate on each weeks service in advance but for the average church Sunday AM Services usually do not come together till Sunday AM.

And I know a lot of churches that still do not have internet at the church.

Has anyone had a chance to play with Proclaim yet now that it's out? My Director of Music is interested in it and I think he signed up for I trial. I will be getting with him so I can play with it also.
