Motion backgrounds in EasiSlides

I downloaded EasiSlides and I'm having trouble finding how to change the backgrounds to the motion backgrounds I have (they are in .wmv and .avi formats). The guide/tutorial, help, and FAQ didn't help much with this.

Assuming that the media will play in Windows player.
select a song, Enter. It will appear in the 2nd top window
Click set , use individual settings ,click Media none ,
Click option 3 Browse find media file ,
click repeat if needed click OK Click Live Hopefully it will play.

I discovered that it doesn't work for me either in Vista but just fine in XP.

Did you install the K-lite codec pack? I don't have any trouble with motion backgrounds not working.

Is that on the Easislides site? I missed it I guess. Also, my computer does not have trouble playing video formats in iTunes, Media Player, RealPlayer, etc. So, I'm not sure I need some codec I'm not familiar with. The problem is motion loops only in Easislides (which I noticed the most recent version is from 2007).

K-lite Codec Pack. Easislides will play essentially anything Media Player will. Have you taken a look at your VideoExtensions.txt and AudioExtensions.txt files in C:\Easislides\Admin\Database? Avi and wmv files should be covered right out of the box but it may be worth taking a look at. Even with the K-lite codecs you have to edit those files to actually be able to find other formats like aacs (m4a extension), mp4s, and flvs.
