easislides will not run

I just installed Easislides on a Windows Vista 64 bit laptop. When I start it windows gives quick message: "Easislides has stopped working". I haven't rebooted but didn't ask. I'm downloading Media shout demo right now. Is there an issue with 64bit or what? Thanks for any help.

Uh oh, just installed Screen Monkey and it windows gives me the same message again.

P.S. and if I get it working, why do a lot of people use Easislides along with Screen Monkey? What do yall use each one to do? Thanks again.

It may be the 64bit version that is hanging you up. We use Easislides all on 32bit installs of XP and we have never seen that problem. I did find this. I'd give that a try and see how it works.

I don't know how most use the two together but we generally stick mostly to Easislides. The only exception being if we want to show specific images or pictures and I believe we may start using it for our Powerpoints whenever we have some to show. Easislides can run Powerpoints but any slide to slide transitions seem to be a little twitchy and I've noticed on the last shown slide it only show the heading if you have animations for bullet points. If you use a lot of video media in your services that would be another thing you would probably want to run in Screenmonkey. Again, Easislides can handle this type of stuff but Screenmonkey just seems to do it a little smoother.
