Software choice I used to use Easyworship at my old church but now that I am involved in starting a new church, with limited budget, I am trying Easislides and it works okay. We currently have no live music so music with words is our means of doing our singing. Easislides has the ability to time the words to the verses and choruses. Makes life real easy for me. I know Easyworship can't do this but I think Mediashout does. Can someone confirm this or recommend another way to do this? We don't really have the money at this time to purchase the software but I can surely look into it. The other issue I have is Easislides and video backgrounds just don't work real smooth. Changing song verses and chorus causes the video to stutter. Acts as if there is not enough video memory. My card has 256mb of memory so I consider the issue with Easislides. Then if I want to create a song in the database with the synched words and music I can't add a video background only static. Any comments or suggestions?

I am not very familiar with Easy Slides. If you are having video instability issues you may look at the type of video card and system memory. Make sure your video card drivers are up to date. I would also take a look at how large the videos files are. With some worship software programs you can run into instability with other 3rd party programs which cause video codec issues. The creator of Easy slides should have some info on minimum specs and what is recommended regarding 3rd party programs installed on the computer. As for the audio syncing the slide show builder within SSP allows you to time your slides with your audio. You can import the song right into the SSB with all the versus and chorus sequesnce and add a differetn video or image to each slide along with your audio timing. You can get very detailed regarding timing of your slide and the audio file. I hope this helps.

mwilson's right.....on the PC side, I find that SSP does the best when it comes to song slides mapping to the actual soundtrack. I'm not sure if your budget is pretty tight for hardware, but I know on the Mac side ProPresenter does soundtrack mapping very well as well.
