Time Code issues

Finished a movie but for some reason on import the video didn't match up with the audio. Which wasn't a big deal since I am just using images for the video. Got the video the way I like it in the timeline, when I export it isn't the right images any idea how I can fix this without starting all over??

exporting via? Quick Time Export or utilizing Compressor?
Do all your media agree with the Sequence Settings?
How are images imported and what graphics type are they?

It is video DV imported using our xl2. I tried exporting using compressor, quick time even tried to find a rendered file all are wrong.
