Hi there, Could we know your name? I'm Hsien from Singapore. I'm guessing you don't want to spend too much money and you're on the PC Platform. I've used Adobe Premiere Elements for simple edits and would recommend it. http://www.adobe.com/products/premiereel/ Hsien

Hi Nhlanhla, Read your other thread. Maybe you could consider recording direct to DVD? (with no editing involved) You could still buy editing software but you would use it only for special occasions. For normal sunday recordings you could use the DVD recorder, it would save you lots of time.

Hi Nhlanhla, You need to purchase a dvd recorder like this. http://www.edreams.co.za/store/elect..._DVD_Recorder/ On the Sony PD170 there is a composite video output which you can connect with a video cable to the input of the DVD recorder.
