| AVS Video Editor 4.2, Registered Version Hi everyone! Last time I posted here I got very useful and friendly responses, so I'm giving it another try ![]() Right now I'm using AVS Video Editor 4.2, but since I'm only trying it out, I have not registered the software yet--which means that my videos have an ugly watermark. Registration costs 59.00 and provides unlimited use of all of their other software. Do you guys think it is a worthwhile investment, or is there something better out there? My aim is to edit videos of sermons (about an hour long each) and post them online. |

| AVS Video Editor is AWESOME OK first AVS Video Editor is not a full fledged video editor. It is a simple basic editor. I love my final cut pro and nothing will ever takes it place. But what AVS Video Editor does, that my Final Cut express does not, is take straight from a DVD (vob file). No ingest no conversion. Find your in and out and output to a HUGE amount of formats. I was wasting HOURS (about 6hours) for each recorded service we wanted online in FLV format. I tried a bunch of other solutions none work to expedite my process. I have it down to at most 2 hours to convert and upload a full one hour service, from DVD to FLV. We ditched the DVD for master a couple of weeks ago and got a Data Video DS DV/HDV video recorder and AVS handles the files just great to clip and encode to FLV and MOV for storage. I purchase the unlimited subscription for $59, a special they had in March. But I would gladly pay the $99. It is far worth the money for what I need it for. So I give AVS A BIG THUMBS UP ![]() |
