Premiere Pro CS3 Audio Peak Glitch

I've got an one hour full dv video file that I'm trying to import into CS3. When I go to import the file, it freezes right before it finishes the audio peaks. This is a multi-cam edit, and all of the other camera imported fine. If you have any suggestions, they would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I feel like I've seen this happen before to me, problem is I don't have an answer I think what I did before to get around it was I made sure to watch the progress bar, do work, save frequently and close before it finishes. It was really annoying, but as I recall, the workaround worked.

Have you tried Adobe's forums yet? This is unlikely the answer, but have you downloaded and ran current Adobe updates?

I'll try the adobe forums. They might be able to help. I haven't downloaded any update yet, but will do so sometime soon.

It sure is an irritating problem. Enough so that I might switch the project over to Avid Xpress Pro. I also have FCP at church, so I'll see how things go.

Thanks.
