That countdown thing again

I've read some older articles regarding countdowns, and wanted to quickly bring something back.

Has anyone got a quick solution for a countdown video ... 10 minutes preferably, if its pretty then that would be cool.

I'd pay for some of the ones on offer, only prob is that they wouldnt arive in australia on time.

I wthink i will purchase some of those cool countdown ones as well, and some bluefish videos as well.
But in the meantime has anyone got something that could be downloaded?

Do you have some sort of editor? I have a real basic one that I did in Final Cut Pro 3.0 . It is a small file to email even over dial-up. However, if you don't use FCP, the movie file is larger. Hey, I should upload it into MXC for all. Let me consider that, now that I've got the 5 minute version. BTW, the way I have it set up, adding a few extra minutes is easy. I'll let you know.

I use Final Cut Pro HD 4.5. Do you know if this countdown you made will work in that version? If so, could you e-mail it to me? It is 10 minutes...right? Thanks!

Whoa! That's a 3 year old post! You might want to PM Paul just in case (I'll adjust your post count so you can). Also, be sure to check out Countdown Creator. It's a Windows program, but I'm sure you could find a PC to render the countdown. You could edit your video in FCP and then use it in Countdown Creator.

THANKS TIM! I actually have a windows emulator on my mac and will load the software into that to use it. Do you know if there is a free trial I can use first to see how it works before I buy it?

I don't think they have a trial, but I'm pretty sure that if it didn't work they would probably give you a refund (don't hold me to that -- ask them about it).
