Adobe Soundbooth question...

OK so I am using adobe soundbooth (CS4) on a windows 7 PC with a Realtek High Definition Audio Card (I believe - if you know how i can check this for sure the please let me know)...

I am trying to record with soundbooth from the mixer which i am successful at, but i run into a problem when i try to play media from the computer and record at the same time... instead of choosing the sound from the input, soundbooth chooses the sound from the computer's output. so when i am using soundbooth to record a song, such as beautiful one for a service, when we play the media from the computer you hear the song but soundbooth ignores the inputs from the mixer so therefore you receive no voices...

i have gone through a bunch of settings in soundbooth but haven't been able to find the right one... I know my way around a computer but i am not fluent with most of the adobe programs so layman's terms would be greatly appreciated!
