Nursery Call Software

Howdy computer savvy people! I am looking for a software solution to nursery call/Child ID issue. What I would like to do is provide a centrally located terminal that has a piece of software that will allow the a child care worker to enter an alpha/numeric code in. They would then hit display. The software would then display the call number on a second display out put that would be distributed where ever needed.

Anyone know of anything that will do that?

not really. we just use the key feature in mediashout, someone still needs to let the operator know though.
maybe a text message to a cell phone at your projection computer?
