Personal Greeting Card Programs - Printmaster?

I am working on a new computer (HP with Vista) for my parents (mom really, dad does not touch it). Right now, she has an OLD Win98 PC with a Pentium III.
One of mom's main uses for the program is personalized greetings cards, which she makes using an older version of PrintMaster (7.0 I think).

So, I was planning on getting the latest PrintMaster 18 for the new computer.... BUT looking at the Amazon reviews does not look good for PrintMaster.
1.) Vista compatibility seems very buggy
2.) I seems much of the graphics has been moved online (right now, they don't even have internet, but I plan on giving that as a gift to mom & dad).

Anyone else use PrintMaster with Vista? What are your experiences?

What other software would you recommend? PrintShop also appears to have Vista issues.

I've usually been a one trick pony type of software user when it comes to getting stuff for people with very specific needs...

Hallmark used to have a very simple but easy to use greeting card program-but I'd guess it's Vista capabilities wouldn't be much different...
