I had the same problem in a former church. We did the same trick that's being recomeneded here - we put the reciever on the stage, hidden in a fake plant right up front, and simply output it to the snake just like every other mic on the stage.

This was AFTER trying just about everything else - including identifying the 'deadspots' and placing stuff (floor monitors, and more fake plants) in those locations so the pastor wouldn't camp out there.
