Condensers for the whole vocal team?

Hey Guys,

We have a vocal team of anywhere between 4-7 singers. Is anyone else using condenser mics on all singers or is this a no-no? Should it only be used on the lead?

Also are there any condenser capsule replacements for a wireless SM58?

My gospel quartet uses condensers. My vocals at The Gospel Barn in Hillsdale are all on condensers.
As for a replacement for the SM58 head on your wireless, I guess it depends on the model wireless system it is.
Is it a "no no"? Guess it depends on the quality of the vocalist, their mic technique, vocal technique, range, experience, etc.
A dynamic is much more forgiving when it comes to poor technique. A condenser is a much more accurate transducer, so any shortcomings in technique will be evident.
