Line 6 XD-V70 Color Covers?

We're getting wireless mics for our stage at church soon, and currently we use colored foam mic covers, which is fine, I don't mind them but I'm wondering if there are any Colored bands made for the Line 6 XD-V70's?

I know other companies have them but does Line 6 make a set? Anyone make ones that are compatible?

I know I could use colored tape as well, but I was hoping to use this in addition to the foam covers, our sound booth is over 100 feet from the stage, so as obvious a color is important for us!

Is on-the-fly mic identification necessary? Do singers not keep their assigned mics? Do pastors and other speakers pick up random mics?

If those are the problems, perhaps a better solution would include better planning in regard to mic assignment. Either way, it might be sufficient to number the mics so each person can find their right mic. To me, that looks more professional than big bright colored windscreens and even colored bands.

We mark our handheld wireless and wired with a strip of colored electrical tape instead of a colored windscreen

Most of the colored screens I've seen are exceedingly thick on the end. An electric carving knife is a good way to slice off some of the end.

No we don't have any problems like that, we just prefer a quick and easy visual alert to what mic someone is using, It's also easier to tell a volunteer to turn up the red mic rather than mic 3 or this mic here which you don't know what it is on the board.

Don't really want to be color coding our mics with tape. Windscreens work for us.

Hmm, never had a problem with this.

I guess I'm not really looking for a new solution rather wondering if color bands have been made up for the Line 6 series or if maybe anyone who has the shure ones knows what the diameter of the rings are, perhaps they'd fit on the Line 6.

Just use electrical tape. It's cheap, comes in 10 colors (at least) and for the price of a windscreen you get a roll of tape that can be used to color code all sorts of things for years to come. If/when it starts getting gummy on the mic (or other object) , remove the tape, clean with alcohol, and put on new tape.
