Sennheiser Battery Level

Does anyone know if there is a way to show the battery level on the receiver of a sennheiser EW G2? I can see a place for it, but right now, it only lights up if the battery meter has no bars left. (which is about 10 minutes) this would come in handy for those of us running the board, to see if it still has one or two bars.

I just checked the manual for the G2-100 series and they do not display the battery level on the receiver, just a low battery indicator that flashes when the battery is low.
