Budget Mic for female singers

The PR20 (and lower handling noise PR22) sound great, but like most all all other superior sounding mics, it picks up everything on the stage (and some things that aren't on it). The 835, 935, OM7, OM6, OM3, PL80a, and N/D767a are all very useful mics that have a better sound and less pickup of wanted sounds (as compared to the usual suspects).

I was surprised how well the Neumann 105 played in that regard. Excellent sound but reasonably tight capture area for a condenser. Of course, it's in a completely different league.

For me is a no-brainer. Audix OM2 for a 99 dollar mic and Electrovoice ND767 for a 129 dollar mic.

Both of those mics ate the E835's lunch and all other comers at this price range.
