FCC Public Comment - Feb 22

The FCC is attempting to determine the impact on the "public" of opening the TV band to WiFi devices and interference with un-licensed radio-microphones (wireless microphones).

Shure has sample documents and guidelines to be followed.
email them and they will reply with what you need.
It's my understanding that the comments need to be on church letterhead.

Yep. They are saying that they will be revisiting the RF license idea, which has orgs like the NRB freaked out a little. If and when the FCC re-instates the fairness doctrine (or whatever they rebrand it), all churches would then be forced to comply. This seems like a stretch. This will be denied as a possibility. But we all know how the government introduces something, taking an inch at a time.
