Im writing to you cause i recently bought on HP dv6815nr (and i noticed you have one).
I downgrade the OS to Xp (Jusy like u did), but i cant find drivers for sound and firewire.
Did u solve the problem that u had with the XP firewire drivers.
Do u have the sound drivers?, could you send them to me?

Thanks for your reply. Were the pictures from both projectors horrible or was it only the one that ran 100ft? I'm thinking of running a straight s-video for one of my connection about 50ft. If I know that that's going to be a bad idea then I'm not even going to bother purchasing such a long cable.

Hi Lukky,
You mentioned in one of your posts that you had a horrible experience running s-video over long distances. Do you remember how long of that distance was? Did you use custom cabling or store bought s-video cable? I'm wondering if running 150ft of s-video cable would be disastrous as you indicated.
