we Still have the profie System. It is a little under 2 years old. We purchased it for our New Satellite campus and the campus opened on Easter morning or 2009. I think we may hav head it for about a month before that.

I am getting rid of it to get a Digico SD8 system. I prefer the user interface on the Digico and would have purchased it to begin with, but the company that we were dealing with was uncomfortable supporting the console since they were not Digico dealers.

Do you still have the Venue Profile system for sale? I am curious...

Thank you for taking the time to write me back. My intention was never to insult anyone. From your response, I feel that you believe that micing a violin sucessfully is only an opinion of each individual. If you are a real audio engineer, you know that there is a right and a wrong way to do it. Being a real audio engineer, you know that everything that I stated is true. You might not like how I write, but by removing my post only shows that your really not interested in helping people make the right choices on how to spend their time and money.

Hello, I ran across your description of your sound equipment storage "We have a rolling cabinet with large drawers that has foam inserts with cutouts for the various pieces of equipment. We put all the mics, cables, elements, clips . . . in it.

At the church that I was at before, we used a rolling tool chest and made cutouts in 1/2 inch dense foam drawer liners. Of course it was Craftsman, there is no other." We are working on getting our equipment organized. Would it be possible for you to post or send me a couple pictures of what you described. I think it might work for us. Thanks for your consideration!

Drew Ryan, have you used a Mackie D8B in worship? I noticed you mentioned the D8B in one of your posts. We are a small church, but are noticing that these boards are getting very affordable (around $1k). We currently use a Midas analog board, but it only has 4 mono (2 stereo) groups, and we'd like another group to submix our electronic drums. Been thinking about going digital anyway, and it looks like the D8B might still have plenty of muscle. What are your thoughts? Thanks! Chris
