Champ i have been wondering about this for some time and i need your help. I want to know how far can a master fader or a channel fader be pushed to give the best sound quality without any distortion.

cmchamp, i would like to discuss with you the Mackie TT24. I am thinking about buying one for my church. I have seen lots of errors with this mixer online, but I still like it. I also talked to Mackie and they told me that the issues only occurred early on, and that I i shouldnt have problems with a new one, or one with the most recent update. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I thank you all for your kind words. I have been on-line in discussion groups for over 10 years, and I continue to learn new things, pass them along, try to provide the best answer I can while at the same time admitting when I don't know something or make a mistake.
Again, I thank you for your comments.

Just stubled on this site. I really like it. I will be posting here often I think. Anyway, I see that you are a Panasonic rep. I am getting ready to buy a ag hpx300. I really like the 500 but the budget wont allow it. I have done my resurch and it is the best I can find for the price range of 8.5k. Is there anything I should know that I was unable to learn in my resruch? I am buying from B&H.

You can email me - or see the private message I sent you on the same topic and reply to that.

    Thank you for your response.

We just started a new church in a strip mall. We have a praise band. Our problem the congregation feels like they are singing alone. Or in a vaccuum. What will solve this problem? The room is a large rectangle shape with the stage being set in the middle of the long side of the rectangle. Our church is singing but the sound is dead.
Will panels on the ceiling - back wall - front wall?? help with the acoustic issues?
thanks for any information you can help with.
    Pam
