Media Shout Announcement Loop

Hi everyone. First post. I tried searching but I can't seem to find an answer I am looking for. What is the best way in 3.5 to have an annoucement loop run prior to service and then move into service? I am brand new to media shout, learning by doing. My thoughts would either be have a separate presentation, and then switch to the service one? Or do the announcement loop in a PP with a loop and timer and insert that? Thanks.

If you put your announcements slides in and then go to Insert>Script Control after them you can loop them and then click to your first service slide until when you are ready to start your countdown or first song.

You could also use a Script Control cue to set a timer to start a certain cue (like a countdown) at a predetermined time (say 5 minutes before the service starts)

I use two script controls. One to loop back to the beginning of the announcement sequence and the second is a timed control to launch the countdown automatically.

Thanks. I'll check this method out. I just made a set on powerpoint, that I will probably just export as JPEGS and use that way on a loop. I am still learning how the cue controls work.

We make all of our announcements in powerpoint and then insert into media shout as a slideshow, the settings in powerpoint work great and loop it back. Eliminates having the step to make jpegs out of them.
