| Using MediaShout, I usually start with the previous week's design, and simply update the songs and announcement slides for the upcoming week. I like to have a consistent background theme throughout the entire service, which I update to a different theme every week or two. Does anyone know if there is a way to change all the backgrounds for all the slides in a script at once? Is there a background "template" feature that I just can't seem to find? At the moment, I'm going to the background properties of each individual entry and updating them one by one... |

| An alternative which works for me with MS3.5: I am a lazy sort, but do want to change background colors with the changes in liturgical time of year (Lutheran, you know). I is to use a graphic, cunningly named StdBackground.jpg as the main background slide in a directory I use for common stuff. In the same directory I have a bunch of other slides which are laid out with the appropriate color for the season. When the season rolls around, I delete the old 'StdBackground.jpg image, make a copy of the image of the right color scheme, then rename it to StdBackground.jpg. Even if done while MS is running, all the backgrounds change as soon as one checks up on the background slide. |
