Media Shout tutorial not really filling the gaps

Ok, I have been through the tutorial that comes with MS4 (not the MS University disk) and I'm a fairly savvy computer person that can usually fiddle around with a program until I know all of its ins and outs, but I am at a loss with this one. Here are my issues and if you can help me, THANK YOU!!!

I want to be able to create a text (Welcome to Sunday Morning Church, for instance) and place it over ANY loop or background that I want. But after going through the tutorial, all I know how to do is add a song or text to the cue list that comes formatted with a template or background that I don't want and can seem to figure out how to change. So how do I do that?

you can set your background on your text cues just as you set your background on your song cues.
If you want to create a graphic, just make it a transparent background (gif or png file) and put in the appropriate background.

You may want to look at this tutorial on Youtube. It is not just for text but all are editted pretty much the same. This is the link

Hope this helps
