Media Shout V4 & hymns in PPT? I watched all the MS University Info. but can't find info about my question. I have the United Methodist Hymnal in PowerPoint saved on the media pc. What is the easiest way to use it? I was thinking should it be put into MS folder and it show up as its own song group? How do I do that? Or should I just insert powerpoint? seems just as easy. Thoughts? Dorothy

I do the same thing. I have the Presentation version of the hymnal and simply insert the hymn into MediaShout. You can do this through drag & drop. You can also use the standard "insert" command - where PPT presentations are listed as "slideshow". Finally, MS4 has a utility to convert PPT slides into MS lyric files. You may want to check that out.

I have found that I can take the ppt slides of hymnal and do file/import Not insert. Then select the hymn and MS4 brings up a converstion screen and it steps you right through it very simply. Then you save it to your lyric folder and then insert the lyric into your script. This way it shows on the presentation screen and the choir does not have to hold their hymnals.. my group is pleased.

Danroth, have you Insert Powerpoint (hymns) Edit click to highlight cue click on stage click on content in right column click on body text and change to main body? This puts the ppt on the stage display, however, it puts every verse up there twice on one screen and in very tiny letters. Any suggestions? This is a much easier process than doing the conversion on each one. Dorothy
