I'm hoping to finish at least a draft of "Podcasting Church" that I can give my mother for Christmas (she said that she didn't want me to get her anything, but a book by me would be something she'd treasure).

Anyway, this means that I don't have time to shoot the picture I want for the cover myself. I'd love a picture of a traditional pulpit with a set of headphones, a mic and maybe a small Behringer mixer on it. I'd love it taken from behind and slightly to the right with shallow depth of field so that you can tell there are pews or chairs in the audience, but can't make them out.

I wish I had money to pay for this, but since I imagine this book will only sell a couple of hundred copies (if that), and I'm self-publishing, I can offer a copy of the book (when finished) and credit inside (something to show your mother?).

Would anyone with a DSLR be willing to help a brother out?

Let me see what I can do. I'll be at church for the next few days and can bring in a mike - don't know about the headphones though.
If anyone else is up for this, please go for it. Nice to have other options.

Thanks Joseph. I want it to look like the pastor is planning on recording from the pulpit. I'd love options though. It's like the world's cheapest contest
