| Grrr. What am I doing wrong?! I have *the* hardest time finding pictures for backgrounds for powerpoints. It's just got to be something I am doing wrong, when I search. Just for one instance, I need to photoshop (or find) a picture to go with a certain song. I don't need to put words up, I just need a picture. The "picture" in my head includes Christ on the cross in the background (no detail, and I'm pretty sure I've got one that I can use already), a darker picture, a bag with coins coming out, a hand spilling coins, and possibly a picture of Judas putting his arms around Jesus, and hands fashioning a noose out of a belt. Certain components of the picture will come in at certain times of the song (so, I need to photoshop more than one picture to make it seem so, adding components for the certain stages). Now, I've spent two days searching for pictures that I can use for this scenario. I can't find a single one! Am I just putting the wrong thing into the search engines?! What would *you* put into the search engine to find the components for this picture? |

| I don't think it's anything you're doing to cause the frustration. It seems like whenever I need an image the most it can't be found anywhere, in spite of the fact that I know I saw what I was looking for a week/day/hour before while searching. One way I combat this is to keep an obscenely large repository of source images (usually loosely categorized and burned to DVD once it gets too big). I'm constantly downloading images that I find interesting, even if I'm unsure how/if I'll use them at the time. That packrat tendency has saved my bacon on more than one occasion. I realize this doesn't really help you immediately, so here is the link to a nice collection of images from the Passion of Christ. Don't have a clue about usage permissions on them, but you might find something along the lines of what you need here. http://www.spiritlessons.com/Passion...stPictures.htm God bless, Dubya |

| VisualBibleAlive has Judas kissing Jesus. But that may not be the style you are looking for. Icon is very protective of images from The Passion of the Christ, so unless you have permissions, I wouldn't use them.

| Here are some gold coin images. Not a bag dumping out, but a pile might work. If you have an istockphoto account, one of these might do the trick.

| Thank you for all your help! I've decided to revise what I want. Again. *Sigh*. Since these are the pics I can find, I'm going to take the dark-ish background (silhouette of Jesus on the cross), and fade in a pic of Judas betraying Jesus (it's a pic of an old painting, public domain), and have a hand holding coins, positioned above a bag with coins, with the ghost of a noose in a corner. All legal. How, off to go shopping (photoshopping, that is)! And, yes, dubya, I know exactly what you are talking about! I've also been known to go "shopping" for images after a holiday for pics for next year. I have thousands. . . . ... |
