| Here's one way: You can just put a glow layer effect around any object --- separate the layer effect into its own layer (I'm not sure if PSE can do that, but the full version of PS can) --- and delete the layer with the object. Then you would just be left with a glow. What shape do you want to make glow? |

| How about this, then:
That should make the object "invisible" while keeping the glow.... ???? |

| Sorry so late in replying, was traveling for Thanksgiving (son is at Fort Hood in TX.), back now. I will give all these a try. I appreciate the quick response and will let you all know how it went. I think I will make the shape kind of roundish, and I like the suggestion of animateing the gif, so I will give that a try. I'm glad that there are so many talented people that are willing to share. Thanks Pam |

| Thanks for all the help, I made an animated gif and imported to PE4 and added a fast blur in and out with a zoom and it really looks good. I have to refine it a little, maybe add the Gaussian blur too (I have a week to do that) and it should work out well. Thanks for all your help. Pam |
