Since when is Spokane Western Washington?

Even if a Greater Seattle group formed, that would be a 2-3 hour drive from Port Angeles (depends on ferry schedules and traffic). But it would be a blast to get together!

Well, gee, I'm closer than Spokane...depending on the whens and wheres, I might be game for a get together, it would probably be a good thing since I consider myself a beginner on the projection side of things. I'm in East Wenatchee.

Never mind Tim! I found it!!! (I sent a PM to Tim complaining that the Washington area posts were missing from the other thread...)

Port Angeles is rather remote from Seattle, but I think a couple of us from our chruch would be willing to make an occasional drive to join a group. There is a new member from Seattle and it looks like a few others besides Kerwin (since he moved Spokane...).

It's starting to look like my church is equally inconvenient for everyone, except of course for Kerwin, who has learned to fold time and space to put Spokane in western WA.

I'm willing to consider hosting a meeting if you all want to get together. My church is just a couple minutes from the intersection of I-90 and I-405 in Bellevue.

Let me know what you all think. We could try it once and figure out if we ever want to try that again, and how often.

If my location is not equally inconvenient, we could also try to figure out a better location or rotation schedule.

I would be willing to make a trip. But Thanksgiving weekend is out... I have to run sound for a wedding that weekend as well as eat turkey!

Hey, anyone else going to the Stephen Curtis Chapman concert on October 28th at the Key Arena? I have tickets on the floor close to the sound booth... it would be fun to meet others there!

Ok, seriously...
I probably *would* drive to Seattle for a meeting under the right conditions.
Right conditions might include the meeting being scheduled so I didn't have to take too many days off.
Wrong conditions would be like "pass snowed in", "emergency at work", "just getting together for a hamburger with no program scheduled", etc.

Close to the sound booth. Of course they are.

I do believe I will be there with a group from my church, so we'll probably have seats (if we even GET seats) in the nosebleed section somewhere behind a pillar.

Actually, I haven't been to a concert at the Key, so I have no idea what the arrangements will be like.
