What better day than TAX DAY to get together for a CMN fling? Here are the details:

Place: Quark's Restaurant, Las Vegas Hilton, 3000 Paradise Road (right next to the convention center)
Cost: $Dutch

I went ahead and changed the time to 5:30PM in case anyone needs to go somewhere "more important" later. You don't have to stay for the whole shinding. Just drop by and say hi.

Cool! Only the die-hard Trekkies stay for the museum and rides... maybe 1/4 of the people who come. Last time we did this the rides were closed that night. That was a bummer because I was leaving the next day and had purchased my tickets in advance. I gave them to Len and Jason (Jason is a closet-Trekkie, but don't tell George L. that).

I actually did the Museum and the Sim with the crew from Newtek last year. It's a very real possibility it will happen again this year...only on Wednesday night. Now THERE'S an "interesting" group to hang with.

BTW...I will be staying in Circus Squared as well. We might run into each other.

Oh, I went to a NewTek party a few years ago. Unique to say the least.

I'll try to make it. For those that don't know - there is a Tech Director get-together Tuesday, 11:30am at the Hilton Hotel buffet. This is a FREE lunch for tech folks to get together, meet, network and have fun.

I hope to make it, but I'm really not sure what to expect from the trip and the people I'm going with at this point. I'll try to figure that out and let you know soon.

One interesting thing I heard today though was that Easy Worship, Renewed Vision, Media shout, and others are going to have a forum thing where reps are all on stage talking about their products and such- sounded interesting. Not sure when or where or anything, but I could probably find out. EW is co-sponsoring a conference we're doing right now.

You're talking about one of my classes - it's called "Which Presentation Software is Best for Your Church?". I'll be teaching it Tuesday afternoon at 3pm and yes, EasyWorship, MediaShout and ProPresenter will be in there going head-to-head.
