Lighting Class Hopefully we're going to be having Steve V. help us out by teaching a lighting safety class at the next Florida CMN'er meeting. I'm guessing at this point that's going to mean that we'll be in Orlando, as both he and I are located here. We're shooting for sometime between now and the first week of May. Sound off for the days you can make it. A lot will depend on site availability as well as when Steve can make it. I know some of our church's lighting and video crew are already interested, maybe Sstanton and thelmuth. Who else is in?

April 26th or May 3rd? Both those dates are good for me so far-how 'bout everyone else! From Steve: Sound off Florida! Forked Topic: meeting for electrics topic Forked from: was House lights - Temporary VS Portable Originally Commented by kbob between now and the first week of may? April 26 or May 3 might be available if a Saturday can work. My "day" job is afternoons until 10 or 11 PM during the week. That would put a damper on any evening meetings.

Hey-see a lot of look see's... Even if you can't make it this time, let us hear from you for next time. If you're considering it, understand that lighting will be the main topic, but there will be a Q&A session at the end where we can break out and help each other out, plus coldstones hopefully...

usually around 90 minutes including the q&a, but excluding the coldstone visit. Is there a coldstone near your church? I'm thinking it might be easiest for you to teach from a home base, if that's feasible... Gotta keep up the traditions... so the lighting part would probably be around 40-45 minutes, unless you'd like to make it longer? I know there's a ton to cover... It would be like me trying to cover mixology in the same amount of time...what do you leave out. If enough people want something longer, though, maybe we can structure it differently if you're up for it.
